Hey everybody! This blog is for everyone who loves poetry. If you’re into poetry as much as I am, then you’re in the right place. Writing a good piece of poetry can be hard- it takes some inspiration, creativity, and a ton of editing. However, if you can find some poetry contests, they can really help your writing. Getting rejected from a contest may be harsh but it just makes being accepted even better. Remembering that failure also comes with success helps keep your head up from rejection. Hope your journey through writing poetry will be bright!

It seems It’s a long time piece but at least, I got to appreciate this.
Anyway, I’ve never entered a competition before though I get competitions around friends who aren’t Poet but just got that trait to criticise my writings and I never gave up to show every new piece to them. That was my competition anyway….but seriously, I got to find a real Competition yet which can sell my image.

But hmm yea, poetry contests can be hard to find. All the ones I’ve written about have been in my age group. But maybe find a poetry contest where you earn prize money and get featured in an anthology. Try some research and if you’ve done that already, maybe try again?
